Open Recreation Program Begins Oct. 14th

The Clintonville Park and Recreation Department’s popular open recreation program, held at the Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., is set to begin on Friday night October 14th.

Generally the program will be available every Friday and Saturday night 7-10 pm through the first weekend of May 2012. All ages are welcome to take part in the open recreation program.

Facilities available at the Rec Center include the gymnasium, two ping pong tables, a foosball table, small air hockey table, a pool table(.25/game), lounge with cable accessible (62 channels) color tv set, two internet enabled public access computers and concessions. The weight room at the Rec Center is not available during open recreation. The facility is supervised by a responsible adult chaperon at all times.

The fee for the program is $2 for city residents and $3 for non-residents. Reduced price passes good for five sessions will also be available for purchase. Participants in the program through the end of the year will have the opportunity to enter several drawings for free season long passes to the program.
