Marvin L. Johnson, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born June 24, 1933 in Waupaca, WI; son of Leif and Marjorie (Townsend) Johnson. On June 22, 1957, Marvin married Eileen Hake at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She preceded him in death on October 31, 1997. Marvin worked for many years at Millcraft Homes in Waupaca and in the maintenance department at Trinity Lutheran Church. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leif and Marjorie Johnson; his wife, Eileen Johnson; two grandsons, Evon Young and Grant Johnson, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Mervin Handrich. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Dr. Charles L. Tews officiated. A visitation was held on Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial was at Lakeside Memorial Park following the service on Wednesday.
