Preston T. Harris-Cook, 18, New London, was charged Sept. 9 with felony bail jumping.
On Aug. 22, Harris-Cook appeared in court on charges of felony abuse of a child, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond with the condition that he have no contact with a 16-year-old former girlfriend.
On Sept. 7, the girl called New London police and reported that Harris-Cook had been harassing her. According to the criminal complaint, the girl said Harris-Cook had been contacting her over the phone and in person repeatedly since he had been released from custody.
