Homecoming activities are under way this week at Weyauwega-Fremont High School.
This year’s homecoming court is made up of king and queen Austin Ferge and Ellen Schroeder; senior representative Miranda Reindl, escorted by Jordan Haase; junior representative Lauren Akey, escorted by Mike Howe, sophomore representative Jamie Seward, escorted by Ben Fox; and freshman representative Jordan Krause, escorted by Calvin Swanson.
They will be among those participating in the 2 p.m. parade on Friday, Sept. 30. It follows the 1 p.m. pep rally. The varsity football team will take on the Shiocton Chiefs at 7 p.m.
The homecoming dance will be held from 8:30 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 1 in the high school cafetorium. It will be a semi-formal event, which means no jeans.
