Reese, Lillian H. (Eggert)

Lillian H. (Eggert) Reese passed away late afternoon on October 16, 2011 at the Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. She was born on May 2, 1924 in Watersmeet, Michigan to the late Christopher and Lillian (McQuire) Eggert. She and her late husband, Gillius Reese, moved their family up the Weyauwega area on June 1, 1961 from Edna, Texas. She worked at Simons Juvenile Products in New London until 1987. Lillian was united in marriage to Gillius Reese on June 26, 1950 in Edna, Texas and together they raised nine children. She is survived by seven of their children; Bonita Reha, Brenda (Jim) Biadasz, Phyliss Lider, Paul Reese, Rabecca (Kim) Peterson, Melissa (Ron) Winters, Mike (Kerry) Reese; along with eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Crystal (Otto) Jahnke; three sisters-in-law, Virgina Eggert, Dorothy Allen and Mildred Griffith; brother-in-law, Johnny (Pat) Reese; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Lillian; husbands, Hilton Downs and Gillius Reese; sisters, Opal, Goldie and Sylvia (Dottie); brother, Chris; sisters-in-laws; brothers-in-law; one son, Gary Reese; and one daughter, Pam Reese. A memorial service will be held for Lillian on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Chaplain Rich Engle Wisconsin Veterans Home officiating.
