Police responded to an armed robbery shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Mobil gas station located at 509 Mill St. in New London.
The New London Police Department reported that the suspect entered the store brandishing a black handgun and took an unknown amount of money from the cash register. He then left on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and dark color shoes. His face was covered at the time he left the store.
