Gain, Patrick J.

Patrick J. Gain, age 50 of Weyauwega, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Patrick was born on November 29, 1960 in Racine, Wisconsin the son of William and Mary Gain. He married Cynthia Peters. Patrick was an operator engineer for Miron Construction (Local 139) for over 20 years, retiring in 2007. Pat loved duck hunting, the woods and outdoors, watching college football and the Packers, and most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Christina Gain (special friend, Ken Schneider) (Waupaca) and Heidi Gain (Iola); son, Eric Johnston (Waupaca); grandson, Cameron Wentzel; mother, Mary Gain (Weyauwega); brother, John (Kerry) Gain (Waupaca); and nephews, Vincent and Tyler Gain. Pat is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Pat is preceded in death by his father, William; grandparents; and aunt, Joannie Billings. The Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega (105 N. Lincoln St.). Family and friends called directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, 200 S.
