New London police arrested 23-year-old Darrin Young Monday as a suspect in the Mobil gas station robbery.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, police were dispatched to the Mobil station, 509 Mill St., in response to a reported armed robbery.
The suspect entered the store brandishing a black handgun and took money from the cash register. He then left on foot.
New London police have referred the complaint to the Outagamie County district attorney’s office for prosecution.
Young is currently in custody in the Waupaca County jail on a probation hold.
He was placed on three years probation in June after being convicted of five counts of theft in Outagamie County.
