Crain, Gail G.

Gail G. Crain, age 77, New London, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at her residence. Gail was born on January 2, 1934, in New London daughter of the late Vernon and Gertrude (Fiestead) Blondey. She was united in marriage to Robert Crain on May 17, 1975. Gail was a resident of New London all of her life. She was a very active member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lebanon and served as the church secretary and also worked with children at the Sugar Bush Elementary School. Gail was also active in other community events. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Gail is survived by her husband Robert; daughter Gina (Jamie) Wroblewski, New London; sons: Paul and Scott (Tami), both of New London; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Blondey, New London; a brother in-law, Bucky Meydam, Fremont. Grandchildren: Kylie, Kaycie, Kenzie, Kelli, Karli, Marcus, Kayla, Katie, Nicholas, Triton, Jamie Jr., Travis, Trevor and great grandchildren: Jayce, Wyatt, Tashia and Tru. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John Amador and a sister, June Meydam; a brother, Marlin Blondey. Funeral Mass for Gail was held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lebanon with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Burial will be in the Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery, New London. Visitation was held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and also at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, 209 W.
