Olson, Donna L.

Donna L. Olson, of Waupaca, age 86, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Bethany Home. She was born in Waupaca on December 21, 1924, the daughter of Adolph L. and Julia (Johnson) LaSage. On August 5, 1950 she was united in marriage to Gale Olson and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1982. Donna was a member of Farmington Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid and quilters. She worked at Zwickers Knitting Mills when it was in Waupaca. Donna enjoyed crafting, knitting, quilting at home, reading and doing puzzle books. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister-in-law, Irvin (Fiffy) LaSage and brother, Phillip LaSage. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11 AM at Farmington Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mark Sabin officiating. Visitation was from 9 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
