Wroblewski, Theodore

Theodore (Ted) Wroblewski, 98 of Manawa died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Saint Joseph’s Residence in New London. A son of the late Frank and Martha (Kudruski) Wroblewski¸ he was born September 1st, 1913 in Hatley, WI. Ted attended Catholic school in Rosholt, WI until the fifth grade. He married Sylvia “Susie” Ziesmer on March 16th, 1936 at the Catholic Church in Ellis, WI. In 2011, they celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. Sylvia preceded him in death on September 12th, 2011. Mr. Wroblewski was self-employed in the scrap metal and recycling business until 2005. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa and was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed throwing horseshoes, playing cards and working at the Manawa Rodeo grounds. Spending time at the cabin was one of his greatest past times. He is survived by one son, Robert Wroblewski, Antigo, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Irene Van Ornum, New London, and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Wroblewski, New London and Edna Mae Wroblewski, New London.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Constance (Gary) Feuling, Sun Prairie, and infant Loretta Wroblewski, Manawa, four brothers: Phillip (Gleora) Wroblewski, Wausau; Victor Wroblewski, New London; Max (Laura) Wroblewski, New London; David Wroblewski, New London; two sisters, Harriet (John) Rasmussen, New London, Martha (John) Warmbrunn, New London, one brother-in-law, Clayton VanOrnum, New London, one daughter-in-law, Karen Wroblewski, Antigo, and two grandsons, Peter Wroblewski, Fredonia and Russell Wroblewski, Weston. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Saint Joseph Residence Chapel, New London with Rev. Norman Krutzik officiating. Family and friends visited at the chapel from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Internment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in the town of Little Wolf. Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, 209 W.
