Cllintonville Ice Skating Rink Update

Recent air temperatures have not allowed adequate ice to form on the skating rink in WA Olen Park in Clintonville.

Once the temperature is appropriate the department will resume flooding operations. When the rink is being flooded the public is asked to stay off it to allow the ice to form in the best way possible.
Once the ice is ready to use the rink is available for skating daily until 9 pm. The rink is lighted. Supervised open skating, with the warming house open and a responsible chaperon on duty, will be offered Saturday and Sunday, plus the weekdays during the Christmas School break 1-4 pm. A small usage fee is required during the supervised open skating times.
The Park and Recreation Department is still seeking an additional person to work as an open skating supervisor. Anyone interested in this limited term seasonal position is asked to contact the department at 823-7660.
The warming house and rink can be rented for parties/private use for a small fee. Contact the department at 715-823-7660 for details.
