Tanner Ross and Bryce Behn had the hot hand for the Weyauwega-Fremont boys’ basketball team in a Central Wisconsin 8 Conference win over Iola-Scandinavia.
The duo combined for 44 points Tuesday, Jan. 10, in a 62-59 win over the Thunderbirds.
The T-Birds led 19-16 after one quarter and 33-30 at halftime, but the Indians’ 20-15 advantage in the third quarter turned a three-point deficit into a two-point lead heading into the final period.
W-F also outscored the T-Birds 12-11 in the fourth quarter.
Ross led all scorers with 23 points, while Behn chipped in with 21 and Calvin Swanson added nine. Connor Lodewegen led three T-Birds in double figures with 17 points, while teammates Bradly Hardel and Jordan Beyersdorf chipped in with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
