Haroldson, Hattie J.

Hattie J. Haroldson, age 91, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in the Town of Alban, Portage Co., WI on April 20, 1920, a daughter of the late Hans and Julia (Lee) Hagen. Hattie married Lester Haroldson on October 25, 1941 in the Town of Alban. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1991. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Hattie was a Golden Member of the Sons of Norway. Survivors include her sons: Donald (Barbara) Haroldson, Hot Springs Village, AR; Ralph (Jean) Haroldson, Luxemburg, WI; daughter-in-law, Linda Haroldson, Grays Lake, IL; grandchildren: Jamie (Kathie) Williams, Brookfield, WI; Jeffrey (Julia) Haroldson, Grays Lake, IL; Matthew Haroldson, Luxemburg, WI; Heidi Haroldson, De Pere, WI; great grandchildren: Peter Williams, Jason Williams, Makena Haroldson; sisters: June Spehn, Waupaca, WI; Ruth (Robert) Pierce, Seneca, IL; Burnell (John) Morten, Verona, WI; brothers, Glen (Prudie) Hagen, Waupaca, WI; and Robert (Carol) Hagen, Mt. Horeb, WI. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son – Jim Haroldson, grandson – Andy Haroldson, brother – Arthur Hagen and three sisters – Irene Dobbe, Vivian Christensen and Delores Wilson. Funeral Services were held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, January 14th, 2012, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Interment will be in the Alban Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was held on Saturday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
