Clintonville teen bites cop

William E. Davidson Jr., 19, Clintonville was charged with battery of an officer, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.

Davidson currently has nine pending felony cases, dating back to Jan. 13, 2011, when he was charged with five counts of sexual assault of a child involving two girls ages 13 and 16.

He returned to court in August 2011 and was charged with sexual assault of a child, child enticement, false imprisonment and felony bail jumping in a case involving a third girl. Davidson has also been charged with battery and multiple counts of bail jumping.

On Jan. 9, Davidson appeared in court and was charged with telephone harassment and bail jumping. He was released on a $10,000 signature bond.

On Jan. 17, Clintonville Police Officer Glen Lundt was dispatched to Davidson’s home.

According to the criminal complaint, Davidson became angry at his father when his father took away his video games. Davidson allegedly pushed his father against a refrigerator.

Lundt told Davidson he was under arrest for violating the conditions of his bond. Davidson reportedly said he had not done anything wrong and would not leave.

As Lundt tried to escort Davidson out of the house, Davidson allegedly struggled and bit Lundt’s hand.

Davidson faces up to six years in prison if convicted of battery to an officer.
