Several FFA members will advance to sectionals after competing Thursday, Jan. 26, in the District 24 Speaking Contest in Winneconne.
The parliamentary procedure team placed first and will move on to sectionals on March 13. Team members are Austin Zempel, Ashley Orr, Morgan Eilers, Brianna Butzin, Morgan Orr, Ellyssa Grant and Mikayla Martin.
Katelyn Gillis and Nicole Jacowski participated in job interview with Jacowski receiving second place. Stephanie Johnson competed in extemporaneous speaking. Jessica Allen and Johnson made it to the final round in the discussion contest, but did not advance.
Hannah Piencikowski and Ashley Orr participated in prepared speaking. Piencikowski earned first place and will move on to sectionals.
The creed speakers were Ashley Mertz and Miriah Rosin. Rosin earned second place and will advance.
The Middle School Quiz Bowl team earned second place and will move on to sectionals. Team mates are Taylor Eilers, Larkin Moericke, Jenna Pagu and Erin Montgomery.
