Kniebes, Adelaide

Adelaide Pauline Kniebes, age 98, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Bethany Home. Adelaide was born in Birnamwood, WI on May 13, 1913, the daughter of the late George and Ann (Trapp) Durkop. On June 20, 1959, Adelaide married Elmer Kniebes in Beloit and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1985. She is a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Adelaide is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. The Christian Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 10 at 1 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Paul Bowe, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
