$50,000 Top Prize in Knights of Columbus Charity Raffle

Tickets are now available for the Wisconsin State Council Knights of Columbus annual charity raffle with a first place prize of $50,000. Proceeds from this raffle are used for a wide variety of charitable purposes throughout the state of Wisconsin. Proceeds from the raffle are split between the Wisconsin State Knights of Columbus Council and local councils. State wide proceeds are used for educational grants and scholarships, grants to various charitable organizations and grants to needy individuals based on requests from local councils. Msgr. Loerke Council No. 1922 of Clintonville has provided funds, including several grants obtained from state funds to assist a local fire victim, to build a handicapped ramp for a disabled person and assistance with uncovered medical bills for several area families.
The prizes to be awarded total $135,000, including $25,000 or a 2012 FLHX Harley Street Glide motorcycle for 2nd place, $15,000 or a 2012 Lund 1600 Fury SS Boat with 40 HP Mercury Motor with trailer for 3rd place, $10,000 for 4th place, $4,000 for 5th place, $1,000 for 6th through 22nd place and $500 for 23rd through 50th place.

The drawing is scheduled for April 28, 2012 at 7pm at the Madison Marriott West Hotel in Middleton, Wisconsin.
