Lipke, Irven L.

Irven L. Lipke, age 78, of West Allis, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 29, 1933 in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, son of the late Charles and Madeline (Eilert) Lipke. On February 23, 1957, he was united in marriage to Leila Kolosso in Manawa. Irven served his country in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked at Interstate Drop Forge in Milwaukee for 43 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Leila; six children: David (Pat), Robert, Michael (Tammy), Gerald (Jayne), Laura (Thomas) Hultman and Cynthia Lipke; grandchildren: Kevin, Jacob, Krista, Haley, Ryan and Angela; brother, Clarence (Lucille) Lipke; sister, Leola (Daniel) Jenks; sister-in-law, Gladys Petersen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Beatrice; brothers-in-law Irving Petersen, Lawrence Kolosso and Lee Kolosso. The funeral service for Irven was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Burial will be in Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind. A visitation for Irven was held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke, 200 S.
