Amanda Lubinski, 23, Waupaca, died Monday, Feb. 20, from injuries suffered during a Feb. 10 crash on U.S. Highway 10 near County E in Waupaca.
Lubinski was driving a sports utility vehicle when she lost control on the icy roadway, went across the median, spun in tn the westbound lane of traffic and hit a westbound semi.
She was thrown from her vehicle and firefighters had to remove her child from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.
Both the mother and the child were taken to Riverside Medical Center, then transferred to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. The child was subsequently released from the hospital.
