Winneconne ended the season for the Weyauwega-Fremont boys’ basketball team by defeating the Indians 70-51 Tuesday, Feb. 28, in a Division 3 subregional.
The host Wolves outscored the Indians 24-10 in the first quarter and led 42-21 at halftime. The Indians outscored the Wolves in the second half, 16-15 in the third quarter and 14-13 in the fourth.
Zach Alix, Treg DeSantis and Tanner Ross led W-F with nine points each, while Brad Koth led Winneconne with 21.
The Indians ended their season with a 7-16 record.
