Norman K. Gollnick, age 93, of Plover, WI, formerly of Amherst, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 18th, 2012 at Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. He was born in Amherst on May 26, 1918, a son of the late Paul and Helen (Meyers) Gollnick. Norman married Ruth A. Fox on September 4, 1954. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Gollnick, Plover, WI. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Gollnick; three brothers, Martin, Carl, and Alfred Gollnick, and two sisters, Effie Erickson and Margaret Barnes. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Amherst, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 with Rev. Mark Moldenhauer and Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held at Bickel Cemetery, Town of Amherst, Portage Co, WI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
