Rights of Conscience Act seeks consistency

If you have a moment, send a wave, prayer or support to your fave secular or religious health care charity.

To name only a few, but not limited to, St. Jude’s free children’s Hospital, Doctors without Borders or Shriners.

These organizations have paid the bills, served the meals and run the distance with nothing but their sweat and prayers long before organized federal medicine, which should humbly be cheering them on in awe.

The U.S. bishops tirelessly stand against war, the death penalty, support for fair immigration, health care and civil rights for the marginalized and unborn.

The Rights of Conscience Act has been introduced in Congress for those who choose health care to be consistent with the constitutional liberty of personal convictions and religious beliefs.
