It’s heartening to see there are four candidates vying for three seats in the upcoming April election for Waupaca School Board.
Too many times we read of local boards having uncontested races or even having to appoint to fill a vacancy.
Don Writt, an accomplished educator for several decades, has entered the race, along with the incumbents, and I am grateful for Don’s willingness to direct his energies toward the betterment of the children of Waupaca.
It’s not an easy time to balance money matters against math and science and extracurricular needs, but I believe Don has the experience and temperament to make fair, responsible decisions.
Waupaca’s educational needs will be in good hands with the likes of a board member such as Don Writt.
