Dave loved his wife, Elvera, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much! He was very grateful to his sister-in-law, Bernice for insisting that he get a Christian education. Over the years Dave grew to love his Lord and to trust Him in life and death. He kept saying, “When the doctors here on earth have done all they can then the “Big Guy” will handle the rest. I have no problems, it’s all good.” He was a lover of dogs, especially his dogs Princess and Casey. Over the years Dave worked for Curwood, Inc., New London Co-op and Waupaca County as a grader driver. During his illness he said “when the Lord needs a grader driver in heaven he’ll take me home”. Dad loved to shoot the bull and stir the pot when it came to his opinions on politics, Buick vs. any other model and Case tractors over John Deere! Thank you to all who indulged him! We, the family, would like to thank all of our Pastors from Immanuel, Greenville, and the many friends who have supported Dad and all of us during his illness. We are also grateful to Dr. Swanson and all the Thedacare Hospice team. You are all awesome and appreciated!
