Robbery reported at Stratton Drugs

Waupaca police were called to Stratton Drugs, 107 N. Main St., in response to a reported robbery shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18.

Employees told police that a woman entered the store demanding medication. She told the employees that she had a gun but she did not want to hurt anyone.

Police chief Tim Goke said no gun was ever displayed during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white female in her 40s or 50s, darkish red, possibly short hair, 5 feet 4 inches tall, thin, weighing about 125 pounds. Witnesses said the woman spoke like she was a heavy smoker.

The woman was wearing an U.S. Army veteran baseball cap, big sunglasses similar to those provided by an eye doctor after an exam, a surgical mask, gray sweatshirt, dark green jacket, red elastic running pants.
