Girls’ track team ties for second

The Manawa boys and girls track team took part in the Weyauwega-Fremont CWC 8 Pack Meet on Tuesday, April 17.

The girls’ team finished tied for second out of the eight teams. The boys’ team finished seventh.

The results for the Manawa students are as follows.

In the girls 100m High Hurdles, Molly Loughrin finished first, while Nicki Cady finished sixth and Leslie Murphy finished 10th.

Loughrin also won the girls 300m Hurdles, while Murphy finished ninth.

In the girls 800m Run, Paige Schernecker finished fourth.

In the girls 100m Dash, Aimee Drath finished second, with Haley Ingersoll finishing 10th.

Kali Young finished ninth in the girls 200m Dash, while Autumn Ferg finished fifth.

Schernecker finished second in the girls 1600m Run, while Amanda Hartjes finished eighth.

In the girls 400m Dash, Kristi Oertel finished eighth.

In the girls Long Jump, Ferg finished third and Haley Ingersoll finished 10th.

Drath finished second in the girls Triple Jump, while Loughrin finished fifth.

Nicole Pamperin finished second in the girls Shot Put.

Pamperin finished seventh in the girls Discus, while Schernecker finished 12th and Drath finished 13th.

Manawa’s girls 400m Relay team finished first, while the Manawa boys finished fifth.

Manawa’s girls 800m Relay team finished fifth, while the Manawa boys finished sixth.

Manawa’s girls 1600m Relay team finished fourth, while the Manawa boys finished fifth.

Ian Van Rossum finished fifth in the boys 100m Dash.

Alex Murphy finished ninth in the boys 200m Dash, while Van Rossum finished 11th.

In the boys 400m Dash, Logan Hass finished third.

Hass finished sixth in the boys 800m Run, with Adam Michalowski finished 12.

Aaron Strebe finished 13th in the boys 1600m Run.

In the boys Long Jump, Murphy finished 11th, Spencer Elkund finished 13th and Michalowski finished 14th.

Hass finished third in the boys Triple Jump, while Elkund finished 11th.

Joe Vandevrede finished sixth in the boys Shot Put, with David Scheller finishing 14th and Dylan Blank finishing 15th.

Vandevrede finished eighth in the boys Discus, while Strebe finished 13th and Blank finished 17th.
