Waupaca County Sheriff’s report

? April 22 – A kayak was reported stolen from the E1700 block of Pine Ridge Lane, Waupaca.

? April 21 – Three kayaks were reported stolen from the N2500 block of Cleghorn Road, Waupaca.

? April 21 – A resident of the E1100 block of Pineview Lane, Waupaca, reported that $400 had been stolen from his wallet.

? April 21 – A caller from the N8700 block of County Road G, Iola, reported the theft of four tires.

? April 20 – Two chain saws were stolen from a shed on the N1000 block of County Road W, Fremont.

? April 20 – A resident of the 100 block of South Main Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of a FedEx package.

? April 19 – A break-in was reported at a home on the 400 block of Fifth Street, Waupaca.

? April 17 – Steel piping and a checkbook were reported stolen from the 200 block of Spring Street, Ogdensburg.

? April 17 – A Waupaca man told police that someone was using his personal information to obtain a payday loan.

? April 16 – A resident of the 200 block of Vista Court, Waupaca, called 911 to report that a man his in late 20s with dirty clothes, long hair and a beard was trying to break into his home.

? April 15 – A Fremont woman reported receiving a fraudulent email purporting to be from Pay Pal. She learned the email was a scam after providing her credit card and Social Security numbers.

? April 15 – An attempted break-in was reported at a home on the 800 block of Evans Street, Waupaca.

? April 13 – A gun was reported stolen from the N7500 block of County Road E, Ogdensburg.

? April 12 – A red Pontiac Grand Prix was reported stolen from the E3600 block of Tanner Road, Ogdensburg.

? April 12 – Prescription meds were reported stolen from a resident on the 1000 block of Mill Pond Circle, Weyauwega.

? April 12 – A caller from the E1300 block of County Road Q, Scandinavia, reported the theft of a trail camera.

? April 9 – A Fremont resident reported that she sold a ring via Craig’s List, then discovered that the buyer’s Pay Pal account was fraudulent.

Traffic

? April 18 – Janice Walker, 57, Oshkosh, was injured in a crash at 2 p.m. in the town of Weyauwega.

Walker was eastbound on U.S. 10 when she swerved to miss an animal on the road, lost control of her vehicle, went into the ditch and hit some trees. She required emergency medical transport for treatment of her injuries.

? April 13 – Amos Wilde, 44, Weyauwega, was northbound on State Highway 110 in Royalton when he failed to negotiate the sharp curve at the intersection with White Lake Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday. His vehicle struck the guardrail and entered the ditch. He required medical transport for his injuries.

? April 9 – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:40 a.m. Monday in the town of Fremont.

Sean Darling, 27, Waupaca, was westbound on U.S. Highway 10 when he rear-ended a vehicle making a left turn onto Old Highway 49.

The driver of the second vehicle, Charles Stanley, 56, Fremont, required emergency medical transport for treatment of his injuries.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, Darling left the scene and was arrested on U.S. 10 eight miles west of the crash site.

? April 8 – David Bledsoe, 22, Wausau, was injured in a crash at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in the town of Lind.

Bledsoe was eastbound on U.S. 10 when he lost control and entered the north shoulder. He overcorrected, spun back into the roadway and overturned in the median.
