2012 Summer Programs

Gymnastics

June 18 – August 9; for youth entering grades 1st – 10th this fall; Pre-gym classes for youth ages 4 and 5, age as of Sept. 4. Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th Street. Mondays and Wednesdays: 9-9:45 a.m.-4/5 Pre Gym; 9:50-10:35 a.m.- 4/5 Pre Gym; 10:40-11:40 a.m.-Beginners; 12:10-1:10 p.m.-Advanced Beginners; 1:15-2:15 p.m.-Beginners; 2:20-3:20 p.m.-Intermediate; 3:25-4:45 p.m.-Advanced. Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9-10 a.m.-4/5 Pre Gym; 10:05-10:50 a.m.-4/5 Pre Gym; 10:55-11:40 a.m.-4/5 Pre Gym; 12:10-1:30 p.m.-Advanced; 1:35-2:20 p.m.-4/5 Pre Gym; 2:25-3:25 p.m.-Advanced Beginners; 3:30-4:30 p.m.-Intermediates.

Tennis Lessons

June 18 – August 8; for youth ages 7-13 and Adults: 14 and older. Mondays and Wednesdays. W.A. Olen Park and/or Bucholtz Park. 9-9:45 a.m.: Youth beginners; 10-10:50 a.m.: Youth Advanced Beginners; 11-11:50 a.m.: Youth beginners; 5-6 p.m.: Adult beginners.

Tee Ball

June 18 – August 8; for youth ages 4 and 5 by Sept. 4, at W.A. Olen Youth Baseball Diamond. Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-2:15 p.m.

Junior Baseball

June 18- August 8; for youth grades 1st-4th by Sept. 4, at W.A. Olen Youth Baseball Diamond. Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:15-3:30 p.m.

Playground

June 25 – August 9; 7-12 yrs. old, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m.; 4-6 yrs. olds, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3 p.m. – age as of Sept. 4. W.A. Olen Park Enclosed Shelter.

Youth Wrestling

June 18 – August 8; for youth Pre-K – 3rd grade – 5-6 p.m. and 4th – 8th Grade – 6-7 p.m. At the Clintonville Recreation Center, Mondays and Wednesdays.

Registration for Gymnastics, Tennis Lessons, Tee Ball, Junior Baseball & Wrestling starts May 1, and the deadline is June 15.

Registration for the Playground Program starts May 1, and the deadline is June 22.

Summer Program Fees

City Residents: $12.50

Non-City Residents: $17.50

Clintonville Municipal Pool

Swimming Lessons

Lessons are held Monday through Friday each week. Registration is open from May 1 to June 8 for Session I, and from May 1 to July 13 for Session II. Resident fee is $18; non-resident fee is $26.

Session I (June 18-June 29)

8:40-9:25 a.m.: Level 2, Level 4, Level 5/6

9:30-10:15 a.m.: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

10:20-11:05 a.m.: Parent/Child, Preschool, Level 3

11:10-11:44 a.m.: Level 1, Level 2, Level 4

Session II (July 23-Aug. 3)

8:40-9:25 a.m.: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

9:30-10:15 a.m.: Level 2, Level 3, Level 4

10:20-11:05 a.m.: Level 1, Level 2, Level 5/6

11:10-11:44 a.m.: Parent/Child 2, Preschool, Level 4

Special Note: If these lesson schedules/times do not meet your needs, please talk to us and we will do our best to set up a lesson time that will work for you.Open Swimming Hours

Every day of the week: 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-8 p.m.

Pool will open on Saturday, June 9, barring any unforeseen problems and weather permitting.

Pool Rentals

Available for rental 4:30-5:30 p.m. and 8-11 p.m. most days.

Main Pool: $60/hr. (tax included) – includes the services of two lifeguards – groups larger than 50 people require an additional lifeguard at a cost of $10/hr. Wading Pool: $30/hr. (tax included) – includes the services of one lifeguard.

Swimming Pool Fees

Fees are the same for both the main pool and wading pool. Required sales tax included. Single Usage: City Resident – $2.50, Non-City Resident – $3.50. Season Passes: City Resident (Individual) – $18; Non-City Resident (Individual) – $34; City Resident (Family) – $51; Non-City Resident (Family) – $84.
