Ruth Rosemarie Kaminski, age 66, of Weyauwega passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born on March 9, 1946 daughter of the late Franz and Antoinette (Konowski) Bodem. Ruth graduated from Weyauwega High School with the class of 1964. She loved ceramics, and going to craft shows. She was a member of the Master Gardener’s Club. In her early days, she enjoyed bowling, darts, pool and golf. Ruth worked at Wolf River Sausage and Presto Products in Weyauwega until illness forced her to retire. She received a heart transplant at the University of Minnesota Medical Center on January 2, 1989 and went on to enjoy another 23 years of life with family and friends. She is survived and will be missed by her special friend Randy Haufschildt; brother Frank (Sara) Bodem, Green Bay; nephew Eric Bodem, Waupaca, and her many close friends. The funeral service for Ruth was held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Cline-Hanson-Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Fr. Paul Feider officiating. Burial is in Evanswood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation for Ruth was held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Ruth’s family extends a special thank you to the staff at Weyauwega Health Care Center for their compassionate care.
