Michelle C. Olson, age 37, of Pine River, passed away on March 28, 2012, after a five month battle with NMDA Encephalitis, at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, where she had been living with her husband, Ian and their two children, Mason and Madison. Michelle was born on May 23, 1974, in Manila, Phillipines, the daughter of Julio Jr. and Rosita Cama. Michelle graduated from Concordia High School College in Manila in 1991. In 1995, Michelle graduated from Concordia College with a degree in nursing. In 2002, Michelle moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she began working at Beaumont Hospital. In the spring of 2004, Michelle met Ian Olson in Dublin, and on August 17, 2004 they were united in marriage at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church in Tagaytay City, Phillipines. On February 6, 2010, Michelle and Ian welcomed their first child, Benjamin Mason Olson, and on August 14, 2011 they welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth Madison Olson. Michelle fell ill with NMDA Encephalitis on November 1, 2011 and her earthly remains were returned to the United Stated on April 10, 2012, where she will be laid to rest. Michelle was a dedicated, Catholic, dedicated wife, dedicated mother and dedicated friend. Those that knew her loved her dearly and she will never be forgotten. Those that never got a chance to meet her missed the chance to meet a beautiful person, whose smile could warm the room. Michelle is survived by her husband of almost eight years, Ian; her children, Mason and Madison; two brothers, Michael and Marlon Cama, a sister, Millani Cama, her father-in-law, Richard E. Olson and her mother-in-law, Trudy Schoenick. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Lewin Funeral Home. Deacon Don Nass will officiate. Burial will be in Poy Sippi Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
