Fulton, James M.

James M. Fulton, 89, of King, WI., formerly of Iola, died Sunday, June 17th, 2012 at Wisconsin Veterans Home – Olson Hall, King, Wisconsin. James was born in Neffs, Ohio on June 26, 1922, the son of the late Alonzo and Eunice (Colley) Fulton. Jim married Sue Mellott on May 27, 1950 in Neffs, Ohio. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2004. Jim served in the United States Marine Corp. at Pearl Harbor during World War II. He was a retiree of Krause Publications in Iola. Jim was a past Commander of the Sheveland-Taylor Post #14 in Iola, member of the Masonic Lodge, CCC Camp in Idaho and Iola Lions Club. He is survived by: daughters, Teri (Gary) Fenney, Neosho; Vicki (Tony Nunez) Carper, Centerville, Ohio; and son, James (Jill) Fulton, Marion. Jim is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation was held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 4-7 PM at the Voie Funeral Home, Iola, WI. There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery Iola, Wisconsin.
