? July 22 – A blue bicycle was reported stolen from the bike rack outside of City Hall in downtown Waupaca.

? July 22 – A burglary was reported at a home on the 300 block of Grove Street, Manawa.

? July 21 – A caller from the 400 block of Water Street, Iola, reported the theft of loud speakers.

? July 21 – Two chain saws and a .22-caliber semiautomatic were reported stolen from the 100 block of Maes Street, Marion.

? July 20 – A break-in of a garage on the 200 block of West Main Street, Embarrass, was reported.

? July 20 – A car parked on the E1100 block of Radley Road, Waupaca, was entered, and an estimated $90 in cash was stolen.

? July 18 – A 2008 red Hyundai Santa Fe was reported stolen from a garage on the N1400 block of County Road W, Fremont.

? July 18 – A vehicle parked on the 600 block of Royalton Street, Waupaca, was entered and cash stolen.

? July 18 – A bicycle was reported stolen from the 800 block of Royalton Street, Waupaca.

? July 18 – A Waupaca woman reported that she received a phone call informing her that she had been awarded a $75,000 grant, but she needed to send the caller $290 before her check could be mailed.

? July 18 – a resident of the E8100 block of Weiland Road, New London, called 911 and reported that someone broke into his home. Several guns were missing. However, he found the guns inside one of his cars. He said it appeared that the person who broke into his home also tried to steal his car but weas unable to start it.

? July 17 – A break-in was reported at a cabin on the N1100 block of County Road E, Waupaca.

Traffic

? July 16 – A man riding a moped was seriously injured in a crash shortly before 5 p.m. in the town of Farmington.

David Byrd, 33, Waupaca, was operating a moped on State Highway 22, north of Shadow Road, when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by Prudence Curry, 62, Waupaca.

Byrd was taken by ambulance to Riverside Medical Center and then flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
