Lehman, Margaret Irene (Berg)

Margaret I. Lehman, age 89, New London, went to be with her Lord, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born August 14, 1923, to the late Adam and Elsie (Czich) Berg. Margaret married Harold Lehman; together they had 3 children. Harold preceded her in death in 1967. She worked most of her life at various supermarkets in New London and at Hillshire Farms. She retired in 1999 from Piggly Wiggly. Margaret enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing piano and singing in the church choir. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Christine (Ezequiel) Zapatero; son-in-law, Robert Inniger; 2 grandchildren, Nathanael and Adam; 4 step-grandchildren: Israel, Ezequiel Jr., Antonio and Marcus. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, son David Lehman, daughter, Barbara Inniger, brothers, Leonard and Clarence and a sister Arlene Berg. Funeral services for Margaret were held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery, Town of Caledonia. Visitation was held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
