Schoenick, Bobby L.

Bobby L. Schoenick, age 65, of Weyauwega died Saturday September 15, 2012, at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. He was born December 25, 1946, in Waupaca, along with his twin brother Billy to parents, Marvin and Bernice (Kuehl) Schoenick. Bobby was a surprise to the doctor as well as his parents. Bobby was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church where he attended grade school and then was 1965 graduate of Weyauwega High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1966, serving in Germany during the Viet Nam conflict. After serving our country he led an active life of being a loving father and avid outdoorsman, whether it be hunting or fishing. There was always a story to tell. Survivors include parents, Bernice and Marvin Schoenick, Weyauwega; daughters Brigette and Alicia, Weyauwega; identical twin brother Billy (Carol) Schoenick, Tustin, brother Wayne Schoenick, Poy Sippi; sisters Nancy (Mike) Kempf, Weyauwega, Jayne (Brent) Dittman, Pine River, Tammy (Scooter) Schoenick, Weyauwega; grandchildren, Colton, Lucas and Carter, Weyauwega; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Bobby will be sadly missed by his lifelong best friend, James Tolfa, Weyauwega, whom Bobby truly relied upon.Preceding him in death were a daughter Stacey, brother Tracy, niece Marsha Schoenick. Also preceding were Uncle Arden, grandparents Elsie and Albert Kuehl, grandparents Ardice and Doc Schoenick. The funeral service for Bobby will be held on Thursday September 20, 2012, at 10:30AM at the Main Chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King with Rev. Wayne Schwanke officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held immediately following the service at Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, King. A visitation for Bobby will be held directly at the Main Chapel in King on Thursday from 9:30AM until the time of the service. The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to Ainsworth Hall 3rd floor staff of the Veterans Home at King for all the special care they gave Bobby. Many angels work there.
