The Clintonville girls varsity cross country team continues to dominate this season, posting a first place finish on a fast course at the D.H. McDonald, M.D. Cross Country Invitational, hosted by Lourdes Academy and held at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne on Sept. 22.

The Clintonville girls are running with endurance and confidence and this meet added to the growing tally of first place showings by the varsity girls. They have taken top placing in three of their last four invitationals.

Wautoma Invitational

The Clintonville girls varsity cross country team repeated last year’s performance with another first place on a challenging course at the Wautoma Invitational held at Lake Lucerne, Neshkoro, on Sept. 18.

Of 93 varsity runners, Clintonville’s top five finishers were Samantha Hohn (1st), Sara Messner (3rd), Brianna Gretzinger (8th), Allison Johnson (9th), and Ana Huber (22nd).
