Kenneth “Ken” E. Johnson, Waupaca, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at his home. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota on November 17, 1938 to the late Gust and Lois Johnson. Ken served in the US Army from 1956-1959. Ken owned and operated KJ Rebuilders in Milwaukee and Madison from 1980-1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and gardening. He will be missed by his daughters, Julie Johnson and Jody (Mike) McLamarrah both of New London; grandchildren, Erik Johnson, Cory Johnson, Ashley Suprise, Catelyn Johnson, Travis Genske and Cassidy Johnson; great grandchildren: Sebastian Suprise, Owen Johnson, Eithan Genske, Tristan Suprise; sisters: Vivian Lerud, Doris Biel, Elin Johnson, Shirley (Bill) Reed; brothers, Doug (Joan) Johnson, Gary (Diane) Johnson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Johnson, brothers, Bobby and Mauritz Johnson. The funeral service was held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 5 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation was held Monday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial was in Farmington Lutheran Cemetery.
