Thompson, Mark N. “Painter”

Mark N. Thompson “Painter”, age 50, of Waupaca, passed away at home Friday, November 09, 2012, with Cheryl at his side. He was born in Milwaukee on July 14, 1962 to the late Norman and Judy (Miller) Thompson. He was a self-employed professional painter for most of his life. Mark enjoyed cooking, auto mechanics, tinkering with electronics and watching the Packers. Most of all, he was a good friend. He is survived by his significant other of 25 years, Cheryl Evenson, who also became his full-time caregiver; their dog, Kia; his buddies (Cheryl’s sisters) Charlene and Rhonda; and two sisters. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Brenda Hewitt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The family would like to thank Pat Weiland, Mark’s other caregiver.
