Timm, Leland Emil

Leland Emil Timm, age 84, of Weyauwega, went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 3, 2012, at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega.
He was born on April 15, 1928, in Weyauwega, son of the late Walter and Adella (Peters) Timm. On June 14, 1952, he was united in marriage to Ila Swinton at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, she preceded him in death on August 4, 1983. Except for the time he spent in the United States Army, Leland was a lifelong resident of Weyauwega. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church his entire life.
Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Dawn) Timm, Weyauwega; daughter and son-in-law Sandra (Darrell) Hartfiel, Fremont; four grandchildren: Chad Hartfiel, Fremont; Melanie (Eric) Pynenberg, Manawa; Timothy Hartfiel, Weyauwega; Michelle Timm and fiance Richard Groholski, Manawa; four great-grandsons: Tyler Pynenberg, Brent Pynenberg, Garron Pynenberg and Julius Groholski; two brothers-in-law and wives: Donald (Barbara) Swinton, Madison; Kenneth (Carol) Swinton, Weyauwega; three nephews and a niece; also his special friend Gladys Hall of Weyauwega, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
The Christian Funeral for Leland will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Newlin Schafer and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation for Leland will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The family of Leland would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Manor and Southern Care Hospice for their care and concern of Leland.
