Ingalls, Clarence L.

Clarence L. Ingalls, age 80, New London, died on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at his residence.

Clarence was born on February 17, 1932, in Antigo, son of the late Carl and Esther (Becker) Ingalls. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1950 – 1953. He was united in marriage to Haley Spencer on December 7, 1957, in Rhinelander. She preceded him in death in 2001. Clarence was formerly employed at Roloff Foundry in Kaukauna. He loved to fish trout and hunt. He was a member of the American Legion Norris-Spencer Post #263 of New London.

Clarence is survived by his children, Clarence Jr. (Connie), Bear Creek; Tim (fiancee Sue) Appleton; Barry, New London; Rod Hendricks, Florida; and daughter, Tammy (Ken) Hunt, Atlanta, GA; Linda Learned, New London; and Cathy Northup, Rhinelander; sisters, Dorothy McKenny, Deer Brook; Carol Berg, Antigo; and Beatrice Krueger, Hartford; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughters, Janet Hendricks and Diane Hildebrand and son Ben.

Funeral services for Clarence will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Bil Sutlief officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Aniwa. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Military Rites will be held.
