Gilman, Tina Deitz

Tina M. Deitz Gilman, age 38 of New London, passed away on, October 24, 2011 at her residence.

Tina was born on August 18, 1973 in New London, the daughter of the late Roger and Nancy (Martzahl) Deitz. She graduated from New London High School in 1991, later continuing her education, receiving a master’s degree through Phoenix University in 2010. Tina was married to Jeffrey Gilman, since then divorced. She had worked at Pantry Rest and The Highway Hop in New London. Her hobbies included playing cards, visiting casinos, car racing, demo derbies and providing a great taxi service to her family and friends.

Tina was a dear friend and relative to many. She was an even dearer aunt to all her nieces and nephews and was a very loving and caring sister. She enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends who include: her brother, Bradley Ernst and nephew, Xavier Ernst, New London, Bradley’s special friend, Shari Cochran, Bear Creek and her children, Stephen (Savannah) Froehlich, Eddie and Chelsea Dombrowski and D.J. Kniess. Also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; three very special boys, Devon and Zachary Ryan and Jordan Kuhnke; special friends, Dawn Ryan, Sherry Derks (Rickie) and the Carlos Gomez family; special family, the Kuhnkes, Pete Rekoske and adopted “Dad”, Charlie Cochran. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, both maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and a cousin.

Memorial services will be held 7 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville with the Rev. Kate Croskery-Jones officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tina’s family.
