Peabody, David E.

David E. Peabody of Waupaca, age 56, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Evanston, IL on February 11, 1956 to the late Richard and Inez (Hasler) Peabody. On October 18, 1986 he married Christine Zempel. David and his wife were members and ministers as Jehovah Witnesses. He owned and operated Peabody Cleaning. David loved to tinker with old cars; he also collected and fixed antique kitchen appliances. He was an avid fitness buff, enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn and home.

He will be sadly missed by his: wife, Christine; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Shirley (Vern) Knorr of Platteville, CO; Debra (Tony) Rinaldi of Appleton; Duey (Karen) Zempel of Appleton; Theresa (Dave) Johnson of Green Bay; Marcy (Bob) Mader of Menasha; Henry (Laurel) Zempel of Appleton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his aunts, Alvina Hasler and Myrtle Cullen.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waupaca. The visitation will be on Saturday at the Kingdom Hall from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
