Rosenberger in Wausau exhibit

Iola artist Carolyn Rosenberger has work included in the “Midwest Seasons” exhibit at The Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau.

Rosenberger’s watercolor and rice paper painting titled “Standing in Stillness” depicts a tree standing sentinel on a rocky ridge near Oakfield.

The exhibit will be open Jan. 11 through March 9.

The opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.

Artists from around the country submitted their artwork in all media and styles describing the seasons of the Midwest.

The juror was Kristy Deetz, professor in the art discipline at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The gallery is located at 427 North Fourth St., Wausau.

Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
