Farmington to hold caucus Jan. 14

The town of Farmington will hold its annual caucus at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at the town hall, located at the intersection of State Highway 54 and County Road Q.

At the caucus, Farmington residents will have the opportunity to nominate candidates for the town board.

The names of the two candidates for each office receiving the most votes at the caucus will be placed on the April 2 election ballot.

Currently, Dale Trinrud serves as Farmington’s town chairman. Eugene Engebretson and Caroline Murphy are the incumbent town supervisors.

All Farmington residents who are U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and eligible to vote in local elections are eligible to vote or nominate candidates at the town caucus.
