The West De Pere Phantoms out-shot the New London Bulldogs in a Bay Conference boys varsity basketball contest on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
The Phantoms made 28 of 49 shots (57 percent) while New London made 18 of 59 shots (30 percent). New London held a slight edge in 3-point shooting, making 7 of 22 (31 percent) compared to West De Pere’s 4 of 13 (30 percent). New London made 13 of 17 free throw attempts (76 percent) while West De Pere made 8 of 13 (61 percent).
Chris Steingraber scored 16 points to lead New London, while Jake Pinch scored 14 and Luke Listle added 13. Ryan Wolf added six points, while Maurice Williams and Jared Thebo both scored four.
New London had 14 offensive rebounds and 15 defensive rebounds to go with 11 assists, three steals, one block, and nine turnovers.

Steingraber dropped 19 points on the Marines as the Bulldogs cruised to victory in Bay Conference play.
Pinch added 12 points, while Listle scored six. Jake Thomas added five points, while Wolf added four, Williams scored three, and Thebo and Chmielewski both added two points.
New London made 20 of 46 shots (43 percent) and 2 of 11 3-point shots (18 percent). The Bulldogs made 11 of 16 free throws (68 percent).
The Bulldogs grabbed 29 rebounds, with five on the offensive end of the court. New London had 12 assists, seven steals, seven turnovers, and two blocks.
The Bulldogs play at home on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Opening tip is set for 7:15 p.m.
