The Waupaca Lioness Club celebrated its 35th anniversary in January.
At the club’s meeting, Jan Hanke gave a presentation, explaining her role in helping to set up the 1978 original club and the changes that have taken place over the years. Prior to dinner, cake and prizes, Tammy Jo Berg, of Iola, entertained the group with harp music.
The Lioness Club meets the third Monday of each month at Simpson’s Restaurant, with a 5:30 p.m. social hour and 6 p.m. dinner.
