A former New London and Fox Valley Wave Swim Team stand-out is now competing at the collegiate level.
Taylor Crain is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix Women’s Swimming and Diving Team.
She finished her sophomore season on a high note at the Horizon League Division 1 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships help Feb. 27 – March 1 at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Taylor turned in personal best times in all three events she participated in. Her time of 2:23.34 was good enough for a 6th place podium finish in the 200-yard breaststroke, a 1:06.64 landed her a 9th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke and a 2:14.43 was good enough for an 18th place in the 200 IM.
The Phoenix women’s team finished 3rd overall in a strong field led by UW-Milwaukee and Cleveland State.
