UW Madison’s most talented singer/dancers and instrumentalists, the Wisconsin Singers, will be performing at New London High School for one night only on Saturday, April 13th at 7:00 PM. Featuring performances by the local talents of Vision and Vocal Motion, this is a show that promises to entertain your whole family.
Cera Malueg, current saxophonist of the Wisconsin Singers, is a 2012 graduate of New London High School and is looking forward to returning to her Alma Mater.
“Being able to perform in my hometown means a lot to me. I get to see all my friends and family and all the people that have helped me get to where I am today. They’ll get a chance to see what I’ve been working on since I left New London,” said Malueg.
Can’t Stop Us Now!, the Singers’ newest and best show yet, was arranged by the writers of Glee and The Sing Off! and highlights the best of American popular music from the last 40 years. This spectacular show has something for everyone including hits by timeless legends like Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson, chart-topping tunes by pop icons from Bruno Mars to Katy Perry, and songs for kids of all ages sung by Oscar the Grouch and Miss Piggy. Fans of the UW will sing along with the ever popular Fifth Quarter Medley that includes “Teach me how to Bucky” and “On Wisconsin!”
