The Waupaca Area Public Library will host author Pam Flowers for its Tuesday, April 9 Lunch & Learn program.
The program is free, open to the public and will run from noon to 1 p.m.
A light lunch will be served.

Flowers and her team ran the Iditarod, mushed to the Magnetic North Pole and made a 2,500-mile trans-arctic expedition.
Her presentation chronicles the perils and joys of the expedition, from intense blizzards and shifting polar ice to a polar bear encounter.
Her account of that journey is chronicled in “Alone Across the Arctic: One Woman’s Epic Journey by Dog Sled.”
