Shooting victim returns home

The man wounded in a drive-by shooting at Wally World Tavern in King was released from the hospital Monday, April 1.

Rickey Stoflet Jr. was shot in the early morning hours of March 23. He was standing in his apartment, which is attached to the rear of the tavern.

Numerous shots were fired into the tavern and apartment from a vehicle traveling through the parking lot.

Stoflet was hospitalized for 10 days at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.

Detectives with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office are still following up on leads in the case. They believe the vehicle involved in the shooting is a 2000 to 2005 light-colored, four-door Chevrolet Impala.
